linke is an Indigenous stencil artist based in Melbourne, Australia.

Global built environments and back alleys inspire linke. But more than just the physical form, many of linke’s works seek to encapsulate the stories and struggles lurking in these communities. Also, a love of the quirky means her works can squeeze in ironic and humorous overtones.

linke’s Indigenous heritage heavily influences her work. As a child, she would hear stories about the animals of the sea and the animals roaming the Torres Strait. Having grown up and lived predominantly in cities, her artistic take on these stories is more contemporary.
